Gateway Region YMCA is seeking a Youth and Family Program Manager to support the planning and coordination of programs and activities. The role involves ensuring policy implementation, managing budgets, and overseeing program activities and events, while also recruiting volunteers and coordinating summer camps.

Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities
Works with director to determine current needs for program
Ensure implementation of policies and procedures
Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions
Manage communication through media relations, social media, etc
Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda
Support growth and program development
Organizes and oversees program activities and events
Recruits and coordinates volunteers from the local community
Coordinates and monitors teen summer camps
Organizes, and conducts leaders clubs and other teen activities and events
Secures facilities for program activities and events
Performs all other duties as assigned

Required

Ability to use typical business software and office equipment
Understanding of the role of volunteerism within the YMCA
Completion of YMCA program-specific certifications

Preferred

College Degree in related field or equivalent preferred
One to two years related experience preferred, as a coordinator of people or related activity
