Mid LevelThe Action Sports Translator is expanding its team of freelance cycling product copywriters to meet project demands for a well-known international cycling brand. The role involves writing and editing ecommerce and catalogue product copy for various cycling products while collaborating with a wider team.
Translation & Localization
Responsibilities
Writing and editing product copy for bikes, e-bikes, components and related accessories
Ecommerce and catalogue product descriptions across large product ranges
Translating technical specifications into clear, rider-focused copy
Working with AI-assisted drafts as part of a structured copy workflow
Integrating SEO keywords into product copy without compromising clarity or readability
Working from briefs, style guides and structured inputs
Qualification
Required
English as a first language (UK or US)
Hands-on cycling experience across one or more disciplines (road, gravel, MTB, eMTB, etc.)
Proven experience writing or editing ecommerce or catalogue product copy for cycling brands
Comfort working on high-volume product copy projects with well defined deadlines
Comfortable working with AI as part of a professional copy workflow
Solid understanding of SEO requirements for product content
Comfortable working from clear briefs and structured workflows, both independently and as part of a team
Availability to take on project work starting in February
