Responsibilities
Develops method of manufacturing for parts processed through the shop
Assist in developing SOPs for processes utilized on production floor
Create supplements for outside services to utilize to ensure parts are processed the way engineering has developed to the best interpretation of print requirements
Assist in developing and maintaining traveler standards that include process flow along with accurate manufacturing time standards
Assist in developing and maintaining APQP/PPAP documentation as needed per customer requirements
Demonstrates capability to read and interpret technical specifications to ensure all customer requirements are fulfilled at time of job release
Demonstrates the ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications on a wide variety of customer platforms
Participate in New Part Introductions
Assists in developing the manufacturing process for individual parts or assemblies
Assists in developing the quality plan for the manufacturing of parts
Assembles Job Traveler packets with all necessary information to produce the part or assembly
Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, engineering specs and has a working knowledge of GD&T
Has the ability to work in a cross functional department
Ability to work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously is required with strong organizational and analytical skills
Self-motivated, team-oriented and flexible individual that possesses the initiative and ability to tackle new projects, challenges, and concepts
Ability to perform process troubleshooting and optimization
Keeps supervisor informed as needed and required
Possess a clear understanding of Alliance Machine’s core values
Possess an understanding of ISO 9001:2000, AS9100C requirements
