Responsibilities
The Transportation intern will work in the Transportation Operations group
Daily interactions will be with the Transportation team, USG plants, other USG cross functional teams, and third-party carrier partners
Work will consist of day-to-day operational responsibilities, project work, analysis, problem solving, and process documentation
The role will include computer and analytical assignments, presentation material preparation, and communication assignments
The Transportation intern will be responsible for drafting and sending communications, joining and participating in Microsoft Teams conference calls, with the opportunity to host and facilitate meetings as well
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a degree program at a recognized university in Supply Chain Management, Business, or other related field
Rising Junior or Senior in College or University
Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Understanding of data analysis
Good written and oral communication skills
