They are currently seeking a VDC Intern to join their Digital Delivery team, where the intern will produce models and drawings using BIM/CAD software, support on-site construction efforts, and gain knowledge in digital delivery applications.

Responsibilities
Producing models, drawings, layouts, and sketches, of engineering designs, construction fabrications, and quantity takeoffs using BIM/CAD software
Collaborates with design professionals and project participants during the modeling, coordination, and construction processes
Develop and maintain 3D model content in support of self-perform process systems
Gains knowledge in developing digital parts libraries, catalogs, specifications
Develop detailed construction models and produce fabrication Iso’s and & Ortho’s for Process piping systems
Gains knowledge of construction principles and practices
Supports on-site construction team efforts in the implementation of VDC/Digital Delivery applications and practices such as Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality
Reading and understanding of contract documents and drawings
Participates in BIM-based trade coordination with project construction teams and sub-contractors
Qualification
Required
In progress toward earning a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related degree
Interest in a career in construction
Experienced with complete Microsoft Office Suite, excellent writing and communications skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal abilities for working in diverse team environments with staff, clients, and stakeholders
Experience with/aptitude for construction and/or mechanical processes
Preferred
Prior internship experience in the construction or related industry
Prior experience with Autodesk Plant3D, Revit, Navisworks and Civil 3D software platforms
Prior experience with Autodesk BIM 360 / ACC Docs applications
