Responsibilities
The Express Service Advisor is responsible for ensuring an exemplary experience for express service customers by providing a prompt and friendly greeting, listening to customer needs, preparing accurate repair orders, and communicating clearly in a fast-paced environment
The Express Service Advisor serves as a liaison between the customer and technician, ensuring service needs are understood by the technician and recommended maintenance and services are clearly explained to the customer
Prepare accurate Repair Orders showing time, cost and labor estimates, verifying warranty and service contracts and reviewing with clients
Help to identify mechanical problems with fact-finding questions and performing an interactive visual inspection arranging road test if necessary
Promote the sale of labor, parts and accessories by providing explanation of estimates and obtaining approval for work that is sold
Follow the progress of service repairs and provide customers with timely updates
Qualification
Required
Previous customer service experience required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
18 years or older required
All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screen
Preferred
Automotive experience preferred
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.) preferred
