Responsibilities
Design, document, and standardize processes for welding, fabrication, and painting operations
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance throughput and reduce waste
Troubleshoot daily production and equipment issues
Develop and maintain process control documentation (SOPs, PFMEAs, work instructions)
Specify and implement new equipment, tooling, and fixtures for improved efficiency and safety
Support quality and compliance with AWS, ISO, and environmental standards
Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects
Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to drive data-based improvements and monitor KPIs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
3+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering with project management exposure
Familiarity with welding, metal fabrication, and painting/coating operations
Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency with CAD software (CATIA, NX) and process analysis tools
