Business Development Manager
Xpodigital is a rapidly growing digital signage and convention internet company delivering innovative, customized experiences to clients worldwide. They are seeking a highly driven, relationship-focused Business Development Manager for their Network Solutions division who will be responsible for driving new business, cultivating client relationships, and managing sales activities.
Responsibilities
Drive new business through achievement of sales goals and KPIs
Cultivate Business to drive temporary conference and event Internet, and network services
Cultivate Business to drive permanent Internet services for clients who have a need for reliable, redundant, high-density and high-bandwidth Internet services including, but not exclusively, hotels, convention centers and marinas
Utilizes existing relationships and cultivates new relationships with Production, Technology, Venues and Event Planning organizations
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships becoming a trusted advisor for specialized Internet needs
Cultivate leads through detailed research; customer, professional and personal referrals; and targeted cold calling
Qualify customer leads through direct contact with decision makers to obtain budget, timing, and accurate requirements data
Ability to perform site inspections to develop highly technical and detailed Scopes of Work – est. 50% travel required
Develop detailed proposals, negotiate contracts and close agreements to meet customer needs and maximize profits. Responsible for engaging with the engineering team to build an accurate scope of services with corresponding pricing for custom solutions when necessary
Quickly develop and demonstrate detailed product knowledge to maximize sales opportunities and results
Conduct effective and engaging sales presentations, including product demonstrations, tailored for each specific audience, including operational, technical and executive staff
Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer’s purchasing needs
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales activity and revenue reports
Work closely with Operations for the seamless client transition from sales to fulfillment. Participate in weekly Operations meetings and provide client updates
Log and maintain all sales activities within the organization's CRM system
Attend and represent Xpodigital at industry conferences and trade shows
Participate and actively network within assigned industry associations
In addition to travel, to best serve our customers, there will be the occasional need to work outside of standard business hours
Qualification
Required
Currently residing in the metro Orlando area
Demonstrated history of selling technology solutions, ideally within the hospitality, events, or venue industries
Proven ability to full cycle sales experience
Strong presentation and public speaking skills
Unrelenting customer service focus
Self-motivated
Excellent time management skills
Attention to detail
Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility
Preferred
Background in AV and or IT sales
