Responsibilities

Handle all inquiries in a prompt and friendly manner which includes answering incoming telephone calls and chats in a courteous and professional manner and answering e-mail inquiries in a timely, efficient, and professional manner, while maintaining high levels of customer service
Maintain thorough understanding and utilization of Online Banking: set-up and changes for Customer and Business client account access
Utilize listening and consultative skills to match customer needs with our Bank's services with the ability to resolve customer inquiries quickly and efficiently
Proactively sell Bank's services where appropriate
Actively pursue loan opportunities; initiate Consumer Loan applications; document & close Consumer Loans; and provide follow-up and maintenance, as required
Perform all electronic Teller functions proficiently
Open and close accounts, following all regulations and procedures to ensure proper compliance
Maintain complete understanding of the Debit Card set-up process, hot card Visa Debit and ATM card procedures to assist customers and ATM Department with ordering cards, change-in status, and initial claim (dispute) processing in order to be in compliance with Regulations
Initiate wire transfers, including Domestic and Foreign wire originations
Set-up of overdraft protection and sweep accounts
Remain current on all products and services while adhering to all bank policies and regulations
Maintain a good understanding and working knowledge relating to bank compliance regulations, bank policies, and procedures, including related Bank Secrecy Act policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance

Strong banking background
Verbal communication skills
Above average writing skills
Ability to research and resolve customer problems quickly and efficiently
