Data Science & Analytics Intern (Summer 2026)

Total Quality Logistics is seeking a Data Science and Analytics Intern to help identify and resolve business problems with data. The intern will apply analytical techniques to solve complex business questions and gain experience in building scalable reports, visualizations, models, and analytics within the IT department.

Responsibilities

Conduct exploratory data analysis using summary statistics and time series analysis to identify trends and patterns in historical data
Develop and maintain data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and support data-driven decision-making
Ensure the accuracy and quality of data used in reports and dashboards
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs. Utilizing a data-driven analytic approach, develop a solution to aid in their decision making
Provide great customer service to all stakeholders

Required

Current student graduating between May 2027 – December 2028
Experience with PowerBI or other data visualization tools like Tableau, Qlik, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Shiny, ggplot2, Anaconda, etc
Pursuing a degree in Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Economics or a related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional aptitude for applied mathematical concepts like Statistics, Linear Regressions and/or Predictive and Descriptive Analytics
Employment visa sponsorship is unavailable for this position. Applicants requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future (e.g., F-1 STEM OPT, H-1B, TN, J1 etc.) will not be considered

Preferred

Coding experience (SQL, R or Python) preferred, but not required
