The Tooling Technician role involves various activities within the grinding room, including setting up and maintaining tooling for different departments, ensuring safety and quality in production.

Responsibilities

Make certain that yourself as well as all team members are working in a safe manner
Provide immediate assistance in repairing and replacing tooling when damage occurs
Sharpen, repair, replace, and rebuild tooling for the Window Plant
Sharpen, repair, replace, and rebuild tooling for the Moulders department
Sharpen, repair, replace, and rebuild tooling for the Building 4 grinding room
Pick-up and deliver tooling, fingerjoint heads, and band saws to work centers
Responsible for all aspects of the accuracy and Quality of the finished product being produced, Customer satisfaction
TPM on the machines being operated in the grinding room

Required

High school diploma or GED preferred
