Responsibilities
Join this company’s compliance team and enjoy a nice blend of both federal and state income tax returns while also being heavily involved in strategy meetings - this will be an excellent entry point into the organization while building your corporate tax foundation
Work closely with the fixed assets accounting group and the Corporate Controllers department - you will have ample exposure to corporate financial accounting and opportunities to direct your career toward a financial accounting path if you choose down the road
Team up with other members of the tax department on special projects tied to research or strategic planning - This portion of the job will be full of complexity and challenge
Partner with this company’s tax technology group - whose purpose is to eliminate manual aspects of the job - while working on projects tied to automation and robotics
Take on a work load that will steadily increase in sophistication and complexity, allowing you to stay intellectually challenged for years to come
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of experience in tax or more
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong foundation in tax compliance for federal and state income tax returns
Willingness to engage in strategy meetings
Interest in corporate financial accounting
Ability to handle a workload that increases in sophistication and complexity
Desire for long-term growth opportunities
Experience in public accounting or another company's tax department
