Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content for platforms
Create short-form storytelling content promoting athlete journeys, event highlights, and fan engagement
Sync visuals with music, motion graphics, branding elements, and captions appropriate for each platform
Ensure all video content reflects the Perfect Game values: passion for the game, performance lifestyle, authenticity, and community
Work closely with Creative and Marketing teams to align storyboards and editing styles with campaign goals
Organize and manage media assets including footage, sound, and graphics
Handle revisions, incorporating feedback from internal stakeholders
Coordinate with photographers, content creators, and external videographers when necessary
Prepare videos optimized for platform requirements (dimensions, format, length) - including Instagram, TikTok, X, Snap, and YouTube Shorts
Support tracking content performance and recommend improvements based on engagement metrics
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of professional video editing experience
Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar
Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and audio integration
Experience creating content with a social media-first mindset
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Familiarity with action or lifestyle sports content
Baseball knowledge and/or a love of the game
Basic skills in color correction and sound design
Experience with motion graphics and animation
