The role involves owning critical parts of the platform, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating closely with AI/ML engineers to integrate advanced services into production systems.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and scale core features across the stack, with a focus on distributed, event-driven systems
Own services built with React + TypeScript, NestJS/NodeJS+ PostgreSQL, designed for scalability and fault tolerance
Architect and operate event-driven workflows using SNS, SQS, and EventBridge for asynchronous processing and service decoupling
Integrate AI/LLM-powered services (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, RAG pipelines) into production
Manage AWS infrastructure (ECS/EKS, RDS/Postgres, networking, monitoring, security) with IaC (Terraform/CDK/CloudFormation)
Lead technical discussions, architecture, and system design decisions
Ensure code quality via reviews, testing, and best practices
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth
Help shape engineering culture, processes, and roadmap decisions
Qualification
Required
6+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience
Advanced JavaScript/TypeScript skills
Deep React experience with modern front-end architectures
Strong back-end expertise in Node.js, REST APIs, asynchronous, event-driven flows
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or other relational DBs in distributed systems
Proven AWS infrastructure management & scaling experience
Experience integrating LLMs and AI APIs into production systems
Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills
Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-autonomy startup environment
Preferred
NestJS, MikroORM, or other advanced TypeScript frameworks
Experience with Playwright, Jest, or other testing frameworks
Background in procurement, supply chain, or B2B SaaS
Track record of contributions to 0→1 products or early-stage startups
