They are seeking a Regional Applications Engineer to provide hands-on technical support, customer training, and process optimization for TRUMPF fabrication equipment in the Alabama/Tennessee region.

Responsibilities
Deliver expert-level applications support, including troubleshooting and optimizing machine performance
Train customers on machine usage, software, and best practices tailored to their production needs
Communicate machine capabilities clearly and effectively to customers at all organizational levels
Analyze customer workflows and recommend process improvements or machine parameter adjustments
Collaborate with Maintecx Sales and Service Engineers, and coordinate with TRUMPF’s Applications group to align on customer needs and priorities
Travel to customer sites for installations, training, process reviews, and applications support
Submit timely and well-documented service and applications reports according to company standards
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including customer-specific requirements
Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current with new TRUMPF technologies and product updates
Qualification
Required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
Experience with CAD/drafting or modeling software and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes
Willingness to travel frequently, including periodic overnight stays and travel by air or vehicle
Valid driver's license required
Preferred
Hands-on experience in CNC machinery or industrial applications preferred
Prior knowledge of TRUMPF products is a plus
