Graphic Designer Intern
Integration Innovation, Inc. is a team member owned business specializing in defense sector solutions. They are seeking a Graphic Designer Intern to support the development of visual design assets for training projects, collaborating with Agile teams and gaining hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities
Create visual design assets and graphics for Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) projects supporting DOD training development
Collaborate with Agile development teams to deliver design solutions that meet project requirements and timelines
Reproduce key art and design within the confines of established style guides and branding standards
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from cross-functional team members
Utilize rapid prototyping tools to iterate on design concepts quickly and efficiently
Estimate time requirements for assigned design tasks and manage workload accordingly
Provide design support across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or related field at an accredited college/university at the time of the internship (Summer 2026) or semester immediately following (Fall 2026)
Required minimum GPA is 3.0
Must have completed at least 2 years of higher education (relevant job experience may be substituted)
0-2 years of relevant design experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
U.S. Citizenship is required
Knowledge and/or experience with design and rapid prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, Avocode, Zeplin, or similar applications
Understanding of essential design principles including typography, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy
Ability to work within established brand guidelines and style standards
Capability to reproduce key art and adapt existing design systems
Strong communication and teamwork abilities; comfortable collaborating with diverse technical and creative professionals
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks across multiple projects
Creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new tools and processes
Professional demeanor when interacting with customers and team members
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Comfortable receiving and implementing constructive feedback
Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred
Community and/or campus involvement is preferred
Portfolio of design work (preferred but not required)
