Payroll and HRIS Implementation Specialist

LHH is seeking an experienced HRIS Payroll Professional for their client in Nashville, TN. This role involves supporting daily payroll operations and managing system migration tasks, requiring a strong background in full cycle payroll processing and experience with implementations or migrations.

Responsibilities

Process full cycle payroll with accuracy and attention to detail
Support payroll transition activities and system migration tasks
Participate in or lead components of HRIS/Payroll system implementations or migrations
Perform special payroll calculations including retro pay, bonuses, PTO payouts, and garnishments
Maintain clear and updated payroll documentation and SOPs
Partner with HR, Finance, and system implementation teams
Conduct payroll audits, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance
Work within UKG or ADP platforms for payroll processing, reporting, data validation, and troubleshooting

Required

Experience with UKG Pro
Experience with ADP Workforce Now
Strong background in full-cycle payroll processing
Familiarity with payroll special calculations
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)

System implementation or migration experience preferred
