This role involves leading educational initiatives, overseeing the Nurse Residency Program, and promoting evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and nurse engagement.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing a structured residency curriculum aligned with national standards
Developing and supporting preceptors and mentors to foster a positive onboarding experience
Monitoring program outcomes, retention rates, and satisfaction metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
Reporting program effectiveness and aligning initiatives with organizational goals and Magnet standards

Required

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BSN required
Master's degree in nursing
5-10 years of current clinical experience
Current MA RN license
BLS
ACLS
Minimum of 5-10 years of current clinical experience
Proficiency in communication skills (both written and verbal)
Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching
Knowledge of evidence-based clinical research current findings and resources
Knowledge of process improvement strategies and change management
Demonstrated ability and effective organizational skills to coordinate and manage projects/departmental initiatives
Experience with data collection and interpretation of quality performance measures
Ability to function and multi-task in a dynamic environment
Computer skills including email, Outlook, Microsoft Office and presentation applications such as PowerPoint

Preferred

Nurse Residency Programmatic experience
Pathways and/or Magnet Recognition experience
