Responsibilities
Respond to technical inquiries from customers via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional service
Stay current with customer needs and product applications to maintain technical proficiency
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Quality, and Customer Service teams to resolve customer issues
Learn and communicate product features and benefits through ongoing training
Maintain accurate customer records, inquiries, and resolutions in CRM and ERP systems
Provide technical training to internal staff as needed
Represent Restek at trade shows and customer visits
Monitor competitor and industry websites as assigned
Suggest process improvements to elevate global technical service operations
Support GC/LC Applications Lab activities including EZ libraries, literature generation, and application notes
Perform additional tasks and special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or 8 years of equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in gas or liquid chromatography (GC or LC)
Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to various audiences
Proficient in email, spreadsheet, and database tools
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail
Effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
Collaborative team player in a global work environment
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and suggest improvements
