Responsibilities

Conduct a quick UX review / product audit of the existing web application
Identify usability issues, friction points, and navigation challenges based on current user feedback
Propose and validate improvements to: Information architecture; Navigation structure; Layout and usability patterns; and Visual hierarchy and accessibility
Create and iterate on: User flows; Wireframes and/or low-fidelity prototypes; and High-fidelity UI designs (as needed)
Collaborate with stakeholders to align improvements with business goals and user needs
Work closely with development (or internal stakeholders) to ensure designs are feasible and correctly implemented
Deliver design specs and documentation in a format ready for implementation

Required

3+ years of experience as a Product Designer / UX Designer / UI Designer working on web applications
Strong portfolio demonstrating: UX problem solving; Workflow and navigation improvement; and UI design and usability enhancements
Ability to quickly assess an existing product and prioritize impactful improvements
Strong communication skills and ability to work async with remote teams
Comfortable working in a contract-based environment and delivering in short timelines

Preferred

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma
Sketch
Adobe XD
