Orthopedic Sales Representative

They are seeking an Orthopedic Sales Representative responsible for driving sales growth by promoting orthopedic products and solutions to surgeons and healthcare professionals, while developing strong customer relationships and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities
Develops and maintains relationships with surgeons, hospital staff, and other key decision-makers to maximize sales opportunities
Identifies and pursues new business opportunities through networking, lead generation, and market research
Provides in-depth product knowledge and demonstrates the use and benefits of products in clinical settings
Supports surgical cases by ensuring appropriate product availability, setup, and technical assistance in the operating room
Delivers exceptional customer service and post-sale follow-up to ensure surgeon satisfaction and retention
Monitors competitor activity and market trends to inform sales strategies
Maintains detailed records of sales activities, case coverage, and customer interactions in CRM or designated reporting tools
Collaborates with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, inventory management, and delivery
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals in a medical or surgical sales environment
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong sense of initiative
Minimum of 2-3 years of medical device or surgical sales experience required
Prior orthopedic product experience strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Prolonged periods of standing during surgical procedures
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours, including early mornings or evenings based on surgical schedules
This position requires a valid driver's license, car insurance, and a personal vehicle capable of transporting implants and instruments
