Lead User Acquisition Manager

Responsibilities

Own and scale paid user acquisition across mobile platforms, managing strategy, execution, and optimization across channels, geos, and titles
Set UA goals and KPIs aligned to revenue, LTV, retention, and payback, and ensure consistent performance tracking and reporting
Lead budget allocation and forecasting, optimizing spend efficiency across networks, creatives, and platforms in a privacy-first environment (SKAN, Privacy Sandbox)
Partner closely with Creative, Analytics, Product, and Finance to drive experimentation, improve funnel performance, and unlock growth opportunities
Stay ahead of UA ecosystem trends and translate industry changes into actionable strategies for Skillz

Required

Deep expertise in mobile UA channels and platforms (Meta, Google, DSPs, MMPs, BI tools)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions at scale (Excel, Tableau; SQL a plus)
Proven ability to manage and optimize large, complex UA budgets across multiple dimensions
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
High ownership, accountability, and stakeholder communication skills
5+ years of experience in user acquisition, performance marketing, or media buying for mobile apps
2+ years managing $1M+/month UA budgets with demonstrated impact on efficiency and growth
Experience running structured A/B tests across creatives, channels, geos, and app store optimization
Prior experience working closely with Creative and Analytics teams to drive performance outcomes

Preferred

Background in consumer tech; gaming or competitive entertainment experience strongly preferred
