Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax returns, estimates, provisions and planning
Assist with tax notices and audits
Collaborate with the tax team to create reports and work on special projects for management
Gain understanding and experience with Tax Accounting
Build strong relationships and collaborations with members of the tax department to support department and company goals
Identify opportunities to improve current processes

Required

High school diploma or equivalent and currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

Preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
Self-motivated instincts with the ability to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment and consult with team members/management as needed
Completion of at least one tax course preferred
