Responsibilities
Conducting inspections, repairs, replacements, and adjustments to interior and exterior surfaces of Residence Halls, Dining Service locations and off campus housing
Repairing furniture, window treatments and screens
Replacing toilet seats, toilet paper dispensers, paper towel holders, toilet stall partitions
Door and door hardware repairs
Replacing and installing towel racks, shower curtains, coat hooks, floor tile, cove base, carpeting, ceiling tiles
Minor concrete patching, plastering, and painting
Minor carpentry work such as hanging shelves, pictures, mirrors, light cover replacements, handrails, adjusting and replacing of door closers and repairs to door locks including Persona locks
Moving, repairing, and replacing appliances
Drive University vehicles as needed
Other duties as assigned by the Managers and Lead Mechanic
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED
2 years of experience
Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education and/or experience requirement
Successful completion of a background check
PA State Police Criminal Record Check
FBI Criminal Record Check
PA Child Abuse History Clearance
