Responsibilities
Build, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases, schemas, indexing, and data structures
Develop and optimize Stored Procedures, T-SQL logic, and ETL components using Visual Studio
Manage data ingestion from databases, APIs, and file-based sources (CSV, Excel, JSON)
Deliver processed data to downstream systems via direct integrations or flat-file exports
Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, scheduled tasks, and automated workflows
Investigate discrepancies, system issues, and integration failures to ensure data reliability
Support operational and financial month-end data processes
Maintain enterprise dataflows, transformation logic, and data validation checks
Design and maintain dimensional models, including fact and dimension tables
Ensure modeling consistency for reporting and analytical usage
Maintain data models and scheduled reporting workflows
Support Excel-based financial and operational reporting processes
Manage SQL Server roles, users, permissions, and access controls
Maintain logs, backup reports, and audit trails
Conduct security and access-compliance reviews
Maintain documentation for dataflows, ETL processes, integrations, and operational procedures
Provide periodic project updates, issue logs, and summaries to leadership
Qualification
Required
8–10 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server development, administration, and ETL using Microsoft Visual Studio
Strong T‑SQL skills, Stored Procedure development, query tuning, and schema design
Experience implementing and managing SQL Server security frameworks
Strong background in Dimensional Modelling (fact/dimension design, star/snowflake schemas)
Proven ability to ingest data from multiple source systems and deliver to downstream systems via integrations or flat files
Experience supporting enterprise data warehouses or reporting environments
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation capabilities
Knowledge in Cognos/Power BI
Preferred
Experience in financial, operational, manufacturing, or supply chain reporting environments
Work experience with IQMS will be an advantage
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise data workflows and integrations
