As a Photonic Test Engineer, you will build and automate test capabilities for validating photonic integrated circuits and high-speed optoelectronic components, ensuring their performance meets real-world demands.

Responsibilities

Define and implement standardized test plans for photonic components and PICs
Build test setups, including automating testing capabilities
Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of high-speed PICs and optoelectronic assemblies, including transmitters and receivers
Ensure completion of on-on time execution of timing according to plans
Define and execute reliability studies and failure analysis for photonic components, PICs and optoelectronic assemblies

Required

M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
Experience with test of photonic components including lasers, MZMs, photodiodes, and passive components
Hands‑on experience developing and executing test plans for PICs
Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills

Preferred

High-speed modulator and detector test experience
Experience with PIC product packaging, testing, and qualification
Yield, reliability and failure analysis experience
