Staff Accountant - Temp to Perm
LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a client in Bergen County, NJ in their search for a Staff Accountant. The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, administering daily cash activities, and supporting monthly financial close procedures while ensuring compliance with internal accounting standards.

Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end AP operations, including vendor account reviews and reconciliation of periodic statements
Oversee AR activities by producing customer billings, account statements, and aging analyses
Administer daily cash activity, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and completion of bank reconciliations
Process, categorize, and reconcile corporate card activity across multiple accounts
Analyze profitability and margin reporting, identifying inconsistencies and implementing corrections
Compute, monitor, and report incentive-based earnings such as commissions and rebate programs
Support monthly financial close procedures by assembling required reports, schedules, and supporting documentation
Uphold internal accounting standards by following established controls, procedures, and compliance practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of accounting experience
Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with precision, organization, and deadline awareness
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
Preferred
NetSuite experience strongly preferred
