Fulfill photo requests to produce high quality assets for digital and print needs
Create visually appealing composites for the homepage
Pitch impactful photo stories and create online image galleries
Negotiate rates with agencies and freelance photographers
Assigning and briefing photographers
Qualification
Required
5+ years experience at a multi-platform digital media and print brand
Deep newsroom experience to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure
Excellent photo agency knowledge of mainstream wire services and agents
Proven photo research and social verification expertise
Excellent news judgment with knowledge of news, sports and entertainment
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with agencies and freelancers
Professional knowledge in briefing and directing photographers
Digital-first mindset with experience adapting photos across platforms
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
