Sales Account Manager- Automotive
Arconic is a leading provider of aluminum products, and they are seeking a Sales Account Manager in the Automotive Commercial group. The role involves developing customer relationships, executing go-to-market strategies, and securing business opportunities while collaborating with various internal teams.

Responsibilities
Develop an in-depth understanding of customer’s decision-making process, utilize optimal solicitation strategies, and recommend/implement actions to obtain sales as a result
Secure business opportunities at optimal price levels for the Automotive Commercial Group while establishing contractual relationships as appropriate
Take the lead in developing and executing an overall Go-to-Market strategy for their assigned customers
Direct and accomplish value added selling strategies for each customer. Primary Commercial contact for the development of business with Ford or other customers as assigned
Gain in depth insight into their customers business to provide accurate monthly forecasts for expected volume and revenue
Establish close relationships and linkages with all levels of their customer’s purchasing, technical, engineering program and management personnel. He/she must be able to influence the outcome of quotations and proposals while collecting useful competitive information
Establish close linkages with Arconic manufacturing, quality, field service and technical support teams
This position has a direct impact on the volume and profitability for Arconic Global Rolled Products. Incumbent must be capable of recommending to Business Unit management the strategies and tactics required to book targeted share and to achieve acceptance of new material
The position requires travel up to 25% of the time. Some of the travel may be international with the majority being in North America
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
5 years of related automotive sales experience
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements
Ability to comprehend the technical processes that are critical to understanding customer needs and requirements as well as Arconic's products and manufacturing systems
Ability to understand customer dynamics and decision makers to effectively sell Arconic's product to meet the customer's needs
