Responsibilities
Implement electronics?commodity business plans to ensure suppliers exceed all corporate expectations for launch readiness, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery
Lead cross?functional decisions with Ford and supplier leadership to rapidly resolve open issues impacting program timing or quality
Drive proactive actions that ensure zero vehicle losses associated with electronics suppliers
Serve as the on?site leader for troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions during emergency or high?risk supplier situations
Ensure supplier adherence to Ford standards, including Q1 and all STA protocols
Assess and validate manufacturing feasibility at electronics supplier sites, including process capability and scalability
Execute APQP and PPAP deliverables for all electronics components, ensuring full compliance and robust launch quality
Leverage supplier performance data, metrics, and commodity strategies to influence future sourcing decisions and drive continuous improvement
Lead ongoing on-site monitoring and corrective actions to maintain electronics supplier manufacturing stability
