Rota Robotics, LLC is an authorized distributor of Keenon Robotics, a global leader in commercial service robots. They are seeking a graduating engineering student with a passion for automation and robotics to join their team as an Automation Support Engineer, focusing on customer training and hands-on work with robotic systems.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with customers and provide on-site and remote training on robot usage and functionality (e.g., walking a restaurant team through how to activate, map, and assign delivery routes to a Keenon robot)
Program, configure, and deploy Keenon robots
Onsite setups, demos, and proof-of-concept installations with Sales team
Develop and test demo workflows; troubleshoot robot behavior in real-time
Collaborate with the sales team to prepare presentations and technical conversations
Create customer-ready documentation, training guides, and support materials
Gain hands-on experience with Keenon Cloud platform for robot management and analytics
Participate in trade shows and support live demonstrations and booth logistics

Required

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering program
Strong interest in automation, human-robot interaction, and service robotics
Comfortable using hand tools, basic wiring, and working directly with robotic hardware
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to fast-changing environments
Effective communicator—able to translate technical details into clear, practical solutions

Preferred

Experience with ROS, Python, or C++
Exposure to cloud-based systems, wireless networking, or embedded devices
Familiarity with robot localization, mapping, or SLAM
