Principal Specialist, Industrial Engineer (Onsite)

RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist, Industrial Engineer to lead and elevate Industrial Engineering strategy across all three Everett site businesses. This role focuses on driving operational excellence, enabling scalable growth, and improving production performance in a complex manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Production capacity analysis and level-loading in highly variable production commodities
Factory labor standards and labor standard assessment processes
Inventory reduction through product flow improvement and predictive scheduling
Factory layout changes and accounting
Capital planning and accounting
Capacity analysis and requirements for production support staffing
Additional efforts that the candidate determines are necessary to the business

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
This position requires U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred

Both high and low-rate production experience, experience with aerospace preferred
Expert level experience in implementing production techniques such as Lean Manufacturing/Theory of Constraints
Experience in working with the Manufacturing and Resource Planning (MRP) system SAP. (System Applications and Products)
Experience with Data analytics, tableau preferred
Process capability assessments
AutoCAD
Experience with capitalization of assets
