Responsibilities

Operate plastic injection molding machines to produce aerospace-grade components in accordance with approved work instructions and production schedules
Set up molds, tooling, and machine parameters following established process sheets and engineering documentation
Monitor molding processes and make parameter adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and part consistency
Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
Verify raw material certifications, lot numbers, and resin handling procedures to ensure full material traceability
Accurately complete production records, inspection documentation, and non-conformance reports in accordance with AS9100 and internal quality requirements
Identify process deviations or equipment issues and communicate findings Quality, Engineering, or Maintenance as required
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance tasks to support equipment reliability
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety, ESD, and housekeeping standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, efficiency, and process control

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required

Ability to lift up to 30-50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks as required
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to commute to Binghamton, NY (required)

Technical or manufacturing training preferred
Previous experience in injection molding within aerospace, defense, medical, or other high-precision manufacturing environments strongly preferred
Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO, or similar quality management systems
