New Grad, Entry LevelEngineers & Scientists Acting Locally (ESAL) is a national, non-partisan, non-advocacy nonprofit seeking to inspire and empower individuals in STEM to engage civically. The Virtual Network Engagement Volunteer will support community building efforts on the ESAL Community platform by conducting outreach, assisting with promotions, and contributing content.

Responsibilities
Direct outreach to ESAL Community members to welcome them to the community and encourage platform adoption and use
Assist Program Manager with platform promotion and social media posts
Support and build content and events to be hosted on the platform
Work with Program Manager to build out volunteer response network and virtual local action projects for community members
Research and share resources for virtual local engagement opportunities and contribute your insights
Contribute about 5-10 hours per month of your time to do the above
Make at least a 6 month commitment to volunteering with ESAL
Qualification
Required
Current or former experience in STEM
Some experience with communications, marketing and/or organizing
Ability to contribute about 5-10 hours per month
Make at least a 6 month commitment to volunteering
