Responsibilities
Design and optimize GitHub, workflows, and integrations to enhance developer productivity and collaboration
Improve the overall developer experience by streamlining development workflows, automating repetitive tasks, and providing robust development tools and environments
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and secure software delivery
Develop and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar, ensuring infrastructure is scalable, maintainable, and secure
Build and maintain internal development platforms that support the entire software development lifecycle, from code commit to production deployment
Apply strong software development skills to develop and maintain tools, scripts, and applications that support platform engineering efforts
Partner with development teams to comprehend their needs, offer technical assistance, and ensure standard processes are upheld
Continuously monitor and optimize platform performance, reliability, and security
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in GitHub (or similar)
In-depth knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Continuous Integration (CI)
Continuous Deployment (CD)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Internal Development Platforms
Strong software development skills
Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role
Proficiency in GitHub
CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
Strong understanding of developer workflows
Solid OOP fundamentals in C#, TypeScript, or Python
Strong SQL fundamentals
Docker/Kubernetes
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
