Responsibilities

Responsibilities include assisting new product development and sustaining product engineers, extensive 3D modeling, mechanical design, creating drawings and BOM's for new and current products
Autodesk Inventor preferred, Solidworks acceptable
Other areas will include ECR's, manufacturing processes, MRP system and possible hands-on lab testing

Required

College Student, minimum Junior level with an engineering degree in progress
Fundamental knowledge of engineering domain principles, concepts, and techniques
Fundamental knowledge and use of basic engineering design and analysis tools (e.g. computer-aided design programs) and specialized engineering databases
Develops familiarity with products and customer specifications and standards applicable to assigned product line or system
Ability to communicate status of technical tasks and actions taken with clarity and precision
Ability to work with general direction and instruction regarding the scope of assignments; determines the priority and order of assignments; and applies judgment in selecting procedures and techniques

Preferred

Autodesk Inventor preferred, Solidworks acceptable
May require programming skills
