Senior LevelRootstockLabs exists to make Bitcoin work for everyone, scaling Bitcoin utility through Rootstock and RIF. The Product Flows Lead will translate strategy into actionable product flows, design tokenomics, and drive improvements in user adoption and experience.

Responsibilities
Translate RIF strategy and in-flight initiatives into detailed end to end business flows (states, transitions, failure modes, edge cases)
Define flow level requirements that are implementation ready (inputs, outputs, constraints, dependencies, acceptance criteria). Your output is implementation-ready flow definitions that reduce ambiguity and rework
Identify and quantify friction in flows: onramping, user comprehension, telemetry gaps, operational and support burden. Hold ownership through to resolution with a measurable path to green and defined success criteria
Define success metrics per critical flow and work with Data Intelligence to instrument telemetry that explains adoption, drop-off, and liquidity bottlenecks
Model tokenomics impact inside key flows (user incentives, costs, rewards, governance touchpoints) and flag second order effects
Make liquidity a first class design constraint: map liquidity dependencies, failure points, and mitigation options across partners and internal protocols
Ensure tokenomics and liquidity considerations are included in every relevant flow spec, not bolted on after implementation
Be an expert on your market, key sector trends, and competitor offerings where directly relevant to your specific products. Translate what’s working elsewhere into concrete flow improvements
Benchmark market leading patterns outside Rootstock and RIF and translate what works into pragmatic recommendations. Provide structured decision input to Product leadership for cross product tokenomics and prioritisation trade-offs
Help set your team’s OKRs aligned with company and group OKRs, as envisioned by the Product Managers and Product Directors
Establish clear shared terminology and mental models across Product, Engineering, Data Intelligence, Legal, Marketing, and Finance
Raise the bar on written artefacts: concise specs, flow diagrams, and decision memos that reduce ambiguity and rework. Quality and clarity at velocity matter more than volume
Qualification
Required
Comfort operating in ambiguity and abstraction. You can take fuzzy, high level concepts (strategy, incentives, ecosystem dynamics) and turn them into concrete, testable flows and decisions
Demonstrable experience owning complex end to end business flows where money and asset movement and failure modes matter
Strong written communication. You can produce clear specs and decision memos with AI as a force multiplier, never as a substitute
Practical understanding of crypto asset mechanics (wallets, on and off ramps, bridges, liquidity, pricing, fees, among other areas) and how these shape user journeys. Ability to reason about tokenomics and incentives at both flow level and ecosystem level, and simplify it for users
Strong awareness of executing go to market strategy and comfortable with a relentless pursuit of product market fit. You're comfortable forming hypotheses, instrumenting what matters, and changing your mind when the data contradicts the narrative
You can align technical and non technical stakeholders through clear written artifacts and calm, high trust collaboration. Strong stakeholder management across Product, Engineering, Data, Legal, and Finance, without politics or theatre
A bias to action and independence. You find the work, drive it, and close it without heavy supervision. You can challenge constructively whilst remaining professional
Systems and patterns thinking. You see second order effects (liquidity, telemetry, ops load, legal and finance constraints) before they become incidents
Curiosity about market best practice and competitor patterns, with the judgment to ignore noise. A passion for innovation, whilst remaining grounded and pragmatic
Pro-Bitcoin alignment and thoughtful conviction about Bitcoin DeFi
