Responsibilities
You will design and build backend services that support the growth and reliability of AI powered products at large scale
You will create robust data ingestion and processing pipelines that allow machine learning models to train on and act upon massive volumes of behavioral data
You will develop systems for serving AI models in production, ensuring performance, stability, and observability
You will contribute to the evolution of agent based architectures, improving autonomy, decision making, and execution capabilities
You will help foster a culture of ownership and experimentation, balancing rapid iteration with strong engineering fundamentals and customer focused thinking
Qualification
Required
Five to seven years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on backend development and distributed systems
Hands on experience deploying generative AI or agent based systems into real production environments
Experience with techniques such as prompt design, few shot learning, fine tuning, and evaluation of AI systems
Strong backend engineering skills with a proven ability to build scalable services that support intelligent workflows
Proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks
Deep experience with asynchronous processing and distributed task execution
Understanding of data intensive systems and experience with large scale data processing tools
Comfortable designing and operating cloud native systems, managing infrastructure, and supporting continuous integration and deployment pipelines
Ability to build clean, reliable APIs and understand database design, migrations, and performance tradeoffs
Ability to thrive in environments with ambiguity and momentum, taking ownership of problems from definition through delivery
Deep curiosity about artificial intelligence and a commitment to continuous learning as the field evolves
Enjoyment of working closely with product partners and, when appropriate, directly with customers to ensure solutions deliver real value
Preferred
Prior experience training machine learning models and deploying them to production systems
Familiarity with reinforcement learning techniques or outcome driven optimization approaches
