The Lead Electrical Engineer will take end-to-end responsibility for the design, integration, and standardization of modular electrical systems, leading advanced electrical design efforts and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and detailed design of AC and DC power systems supporting mission-critical loads
Develop and review single-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring designs
Perform load flow analysis and protective device coordination
Specify and integrate UPS systems, switchgear, switchboards, transformers, busway, cable bus, and distribution equipment
Lead coordination of controls, BMS, security, and networking systems within modular solutions
Produce and review detailed AutoCAD and Revit drawings and models
Partner with manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams to evaluate vendor designs and approve technical submittals
Lead shop drawing reviews and provide hands-on guidance during fabrication and build phases
Mentor and review work from Electrical Engineers and Designers
Act as the escalation point and technical authority for complex electrical challenges across multiple projects

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or closely related field)
10+ years of experience designing and integrating critical power systems
Proven experience with UPS systems, switchgear, and switchboard integration
Strong understanding of electrical codes and mission-critical standards
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Ability to lead across engineering, manufacturing, and field execution teams

Preferred

Master's degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Experience developing engineering standards in a modular or prefabricated environment
