They are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to support their Product Realization Center and Manufacturing efforts in Somerset, focusing on software updates, system communication pathways, and documentation for sustained improvements.
Responsibilities
Participate in site safety programs including behavioral safety and use of proactive safety reviews
Partner with engineering team to understand assembly and test system communication pathways
Work independently on value-added software update or integration projects
Exhibit understanding of software architecture and system infrastructure; review and advise on potential improvements
Create documentation relevant to projects or project work to support sustained improvements
Perform other related duties as required
Qualification
Required

Education/Relevant Majors: Electrical Engineer, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology
Preferred
Experience programming some or all production-relevant software platforms (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Node.js, SQL, Python, Labview, SCADA, Linux)
Evidence of project management aptitude
Experience in a manufacturing setting
