Records Management Information Technician

Responsibilities
Provide support and guidance on the organization, storage, retrieval, and destruction of federal government records
Conduct Records Management training for federal government staff and other contractors
Perform accurate and timely data entry into government Records Management systems, and serve as database coordinator
Operate a government vehicle to transport records between designated locations, ensuring timely retrieval and delivery of requested files, as well as records scheduled for archiving or secure destruction
Create and maintain Records Management manuals and user guides
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to the Project Manager
Ensure quality customer service and reference support for federal staff and contractors
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a public trust clearance
High school diploma
Minimum 2 years in administrative support functions
Must be able to obtain a Certificate of Federal Records Management Training
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Demonstrated accurate data entry and reporting skills and exceptional organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to function in high-pressure situations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute
Ability to bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds overhead or onto moving equipment
