Epic Lumens Analyst - Hybrid- Work onsite at any Carle location
Carle Health is a healthcare system with nearly 16,600 team members in its eight hospitals and various healthcare businesses. They are seeking an Epic Lumens Analyst to implement, modify, test, and administer EMR applications while serving as a liaison between vendors, IT personnel, and end users to enhance system functionality and resolve issues.

Responsibilities
Implement, modify, test and administer modules and systems related to EMR applications
Serve as a liaison between vendors, IT personnel, other application analysts, management and end users to resolve questions related to system functionality and design
Assess end user needs and recommend modifications
Recommend and document procedural changes
Develop standard and customized application reports
Perform all analytical tasks as assigned in the development of each program and secure the documentation, testing, and final analysis to ensure job and system efficiency
Perform team and integrated testing for all functionality of EMR applications and their interfaces
Function as a resource for users in the development of time saving processes or new features
Responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of the Epic modules and applications related to the EMR
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and act as a resource regarding the functionality of modules in the EMR
Possess an understanding of project planning and develop plans for small projects
Perform comparative analysis of system design to requirements identified by users
Act as a team member to maintain various system parameter tables including reference tables, issue enhancement logs, etc
Coordinate and engage in unit and integrated application testing
Identify system requirements
Serve as first point of contact for end-users for issues
Research, document, and facilitate resolution to issues reported by end-users
Accept shared responsibility for on-going support of EMR applications
Create ad hoc reports and application report templates for multiple purposes
Review, research, test and facilitate system updates and responsible for user maintenance for multiple systems
Draft reference materials and assist with documentation for training courses to prepare staff for effective system use
Provide support for 24/7 environments
Participate in on-call responsibilities including early morning and evening hours to support customer needs
Qualification
Required
Epic Certification within 6 months - EPIC
Bachelor's Degree: Related Field
Experience In Lieu of Education, Work Experience: Information systems; Healthcare
