Responsibilities
Perform daily reconciliations for operating cash accounts
Clear outstanding checks and investigate variances in a high-volume environment
Partner closely with cash receipts, accounts payable, and treasury teams to resolve discrepancies
Prepare and post daily journal entries for bank charges, interbank transfers, and operating activity
Report accurate daily bank balances and weekly cash flow projections to global leadership
Maintain detailed daily cash flow forecasts aligned with operating expense and capex budgets
Prepare draft monthly escrow account reports for internal stakeholders and external clients
Prepare and maintain balance sheet and income statement workpapers
Support the accuracy and integrity of general ledger balances during month-end close
Participate in accounting system conversions, including testing and training
Assist with special projects and ad hoc initiatives led by the Controller team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables required)
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred
IFRS exposure helpful but not required
