Responsibilities
Secures enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; preparing security standards, policies, and procedures
Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards on-prem, remote (DR), and cloud environments
Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members
Qualification
Required
Experience in application security or DevSecOps
Track record of supporting software development teams
Knowledge of network security, network hardware configuration, and network protocols
Ability to evaluate network and security technologies
Experience in planning, implementing, and testing security systems
Ability to prepare security standards, policies, and procedures
Experience in designing public key infrastructures (PKIs)
Knowledge of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures
Experience with hardware and software security solutions
Ability to mentor team members and improve processes
Strong decision-making and conceptual skills
Dependability and ability to inform others
