Part-Time Bookkeeper & Office Manager
Massachusetts Cranberries, represented by the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers’ Association, is dedicated to supporting the Massachusetts cranberry industry. They are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper & Office Manager to manage financial transactions and ensure accurate financial records while overseeing office operations.
Responsibilities
Handle bookkeeping with precision — AP, AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations, monthly reports, federal grant financial compliance
Partner with our CPA to keep us tax-ready and audit-happy
Maintain business office compliance with a combination of proactive, organized record-keeping, and adherence to annual filing deadlines
Keep our office running like a well-oiled machine
Manage supplies, vendors, mail, and possibly the office plants
Orchestrate events by juggling timelines, vendors, details, and deadlines with ease
Be the point person for 'Wait, who do I ask about…?' questions
Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Substantial experience in QuickBooks Online
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting best practices
Organized, proactive, and a problem-solving machine
Jedi-level communication skills (written & verbal)
Comfortable working in an agriculture-based business environment
