Responsibilities
The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for the collection of past due accounts via phone, US Mail and /or email
Interact with station managers and other departments within the company to resolve invoice differences
Research billing errors and make the appropriate corrections
Provide excellent customer service
Record detailed account information as it is obtained
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requires strong skills in the Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel and Word with basic skills in PowerPoint and Access
Support and promote company core values
Compliance with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
2-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and data entry
Strong skills in the Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel and Word with basic skills in PowerPoint and Access
Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions
High level of attention to detail in composing and proofing materials required
Strong customer service, oral and written communication skills required
Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects and set priorities
Comfortable working independently, or in a team setting and working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
Proven competence to communicate clearly and persuasively with all levels of an organization
Compliance with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures
Candidates who receive a job offer will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and a background check
Preferred
AS/400 and/or freight collections experience helpful but not required
Experience working in Freight Forwarding or Transportation industry desired
