Responsibilities
Design and implement strategies to maintain high availability and performance of critical systems
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated recovery processes
Act as escalation point for major incidents, lead root cause analysis, and drive postmortem improvements. Participate in on-call rotation
Implement advanced monitoring, alerting, and telemetry solutions to proactively detect and resolve issues
Forecast and manage infrastructure capacity to support growth and performance targets
Work closely with Cloud Engineering, Application Support, and Service Operations teams to align reliability goals with business objectives
Mentor junior SREs, set technical standards, and champion a culture of operational excellence. Define epics, user stories, gather requirements, identify dependencies and remove blockers
Qualification
Required
7+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
Strong experience with Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures
Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Expertise in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM templates)
Deep understanding of networking, DNS, and security principles
Familiarity with observability stacks (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Strong Linux administration skills
Strong communication skills
Preferred
Experience in financial services or regulated environments
Knowledge of ITIL practices and service management frameworks
Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Kubernetes CKA, or similar
