10+ years expEaton Fiber is building a 100% fiber network to power the next generation of broadband services. They are seeking a Controller to oversee all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records while reporting directly to the CFO.

Responsibilities
Oversee all the accounting functions and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records
Prepare timely and accurate financial reporting packages and supporting documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures
Coordinate and manage relationships with external auditors and tax accountants
Ensure robust internal controls are established, maintained, and continuously improved
Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring proper classification of expenditures and documentation accuracy
Direct the preparation of KPI reports, cashflow analyses, budget-to-actual variance reporting (including capex detail) and communicate findings to the CFO and leadership team
Manage timely payment processing with suppliers, vendors, and procurement teams
Review company and partner contracts, identifying key financial terms including billing, payment, retention, bonding, and insurance requirements
Assess accounting operations and internal controls systems, recommend process improvements, and implement enhanced workflows
Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
Implement consistent accounting policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization
Develop, strengthen, and enforce internal controls to protect company assets and ensure operational integrity
Prepare external financial statements and footnotes for audit review
Review and analysis of corporate financial information to support strategic decision-making
Approve and release cash transfers and disbursements in alignment with company policies
Coordinate with the procurement and implementation teams to ensure cross‑functional alignment on vendor terms, processes, and financial requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
10+ years of relevant professional experience in fast-paced environments
Expertise with NetSuite and hands-on ERP implementation
Strong GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to partner cross-functionally
Ability to design and roll out financial policies, controls, and processes
Proven success leading and executing complex financial projects in dynamic settings
Established capability in hiring, mentoring, and leading finance teams to support organizational growth
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance and reporting requirement
Preferred
Experience in infrastructure, real estate, or utilities is a plus
