Non-profit Organization Management

Responsibilities

Schedule and publish social media content for Arise Africa and Alissa Rosebrough across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Create original video content, including short-form reels and TikToks
Write captions that reflect Arise Africa’s tone: hopeful, respectful, story-driven, donor-aware, and Christian
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including engagement, reach, and growth
Manage community engagement, including responding to comments and messages in a timely and thoughtful manner
Stay up to date on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
Collaborate with the Arise Africa team to plan content around campaigns, events, and storytelling priorities
Assist with content planning calendars
Repurpose long-form content into social-ready formats
Provide creative input and ideas for improving reach and engagement
Assist with other communications or administrative tasks as needed

Required

2+ years of social media management experience (nonprofit or mission-driven work preferred)

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Alignment with Arise Africa's Christian mission and values
Exceptional organizational skills
Fluency in Microsoft Office and Google suite
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
