Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Delta Air Lines is seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician who is responsible for ensuring and maintaining a safe work environment. The role involves supervising a team of Aviation Maintenance Technicians, coordinating engine repairs, and promoting operational improvements.

Responsibilities
Supervises, directs, and supports Delta AMTs and ASM
Coordinates and prioritizes Repair and Testing of Engines
Provides technical engine support to Delta’s line and base operations
Coordinates with EMCC, MCC and Engineering on operational issues concerning engine troubleshooting and repairs
Plans, organizes, and supports out of town trips
Promotes continual process and operational improvements
Supports team concept, driving safety, speed and cost of quality
Supports and enforces company policies
Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
Qualification
Required
Must be performing satisfactorily in present position (if transferring internally)
Should have strong organizational skills and be able to respond to changing or multiple work demands
Must be able to work without close supervision
Must be able to work and operate in a safe and compliant manner
Must be able to read and write English and comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals
Must be able to act as the working leader of a group of AMTs and/or ASMs, plan and lay out work, and instruct and supervise the work of the group, as well as be a leader in the areas of continuous improvement and safety
Must be willing to work rotating or fixed shifts
Must have an Airframe and Powerplant license
Must have a valid driver's license
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data

Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
